Positive: Wow, what an incredible experience! The food was amazing, the staff were so welcoming and kind and they give you great tips of what to do in the area. Probably my favourite spot in japan so far. I miss this place already! This place is only a 2-3min walk from the amami train station and there are plenty of shrines and places to walk to near by. There is a local lunch restaurant you can go to and many little day trip outings that you can do to make little local items (buttons, chopsticks, book marks) def plan to visit at least 2 nights just for the experience alone!

Negative: We wish we had booked for longer!
